We
are internally recruiting for a 1st Line Technical Support
Analyst to join our Technical Services Group.
You
will:
• Provide 1st line IT support and customer service
to all ITRM Employees & Support Clients. • Provide a customer
facing front for the IT department ensuring all calls are logged
and managed to resolution, using the ITRM Helpdesk Management
system. • Ensure appropriate feedback is provided to
customers and ensure calls are escalated in line with agreed
procedures. • Assist the Technical Services Group research
and make appropriate recommendations for future developments and
ensure current solutions are efficiently utilised.
Key
Responsibilities:
• Provide a customer focused 1st line
support service for all IT related issues. • To assist in the
provision of 1st and 2nd line support where ever possible. •
Trouble Shooting/Fault Diagnosis wherever possible. • Provide
advice to users and colleagues, supported by documentation as
appropriate aimed at reducing frequency and impacts of incidents.
• Preparation and sending of PM reports. • Assessing and
processing orders for equipment and software. • Negotiating
costs with suppliers.
Technical Experience:
• At
least 1 years 1st Line support experience ideally within the
following systems environments: o Desktop and Software
Support o Hardware Support o Windows 95 / 98 / 2000 / NT
/ ME / XP o Microsoft Office 95 / 98 / 2000 / XP o
Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio 2000 o
Email: Outlook, Outlook Express o Installation and
configuration of PC Software & hardware. o Windows 2003
server & Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server Administration
