| Description | The role outline is to assist the in the projects comprising
large luxury yachts and specialist vessels although other project
does arise:- •assist with development of Client statement of requirements •preparation/review of detailed tendering designs and specifications •assistance with shipyard contract negotiations and advise on build contracts (technical aspects) Following award of a shipyard contract for a new build the services include:- • technical project management of new builds • attend progress and technical meetings • site inspection visits • plan approval • witness of model and wind tunnel tests • commissioning and attendance at sea trails • Preparation and submission of reports Ideal candidate will also have 5 years relevant experience of in the areas of new build, design, project management Good Communication and report writing skills required Good interpersonal skills required and must be client facing. Candidates will be expected to work 37.5 hrs per week whilst in office, but when on project candidates will be required to travel to meetings on site visits, usually between Mon - Fri and at the moment mainly Europe although other parts of the globe may be involved.
