• Devise,
develop and implement fundraising strategy in consultation with
co-directors and SMT with a particular focus on partners,
income from individual donors and events
• Working with
the Finance Director and Co-Directors, set ambitious but
realistic targets for income generation for external affairs
and research programmes. Monitor the achievements of those
targets, provide support and advice to researcher where necessary
and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies
• Build and develop the partnership programme to achieve a
secure income stream for the organization
• Lead on
securing sponsorship for commercial conferences, debates,
lectures and the
political party conferences
programme.
• Work closely with the Director of
Communications to ensure an integrated and strategic approach
to fundraising and communications on key programmes and
events
• Oversee the administrative functions and
processes necessary for efficient fundraising and commercial
outputs
• Develop strong networks within the corporate,
public and voluntary sectors and with other connected
organisations such as public affairs companies to assist the
organisation to raise funds for its research and events
programme.
