Quick Search
A Quick Search on Recruitt allows you to search for jobs according to your specified keywords, industry and location. You can choose any or all of these fields to find the jobs that you wish to apply to.
If you enter a keyword, the search engine will look for that word in all job titles and descriptions for a match. For example, entering the keyword ‘manager’ will not only return jobs with that title, but also roles which have those words in the description.
Multiple keywords will only find jobs with an exact match either in the job title or the description. For example, entering ‘retail manager’ will only return jobs with the exact phrase ‘retail manager’ in the title or the description.
You can narrow your search by also choosing industry and location options for the roles you are looking for. In Quick Search, you can only choose one industry and one location. In the Advanced Search option (see below) you can choose to find roles across multiple industries and locations.
Leaving all fields blank will bring up all jobs on the Recruitt site.
Advanced Search
If you wish your search to be more specific you can choose the advanced search facility. This offers numerous options for making your searches more precise and getting more useful results.
As well as the keyword search, you can choose multiple sectors, locations and job types. Simply choose additional options by holding down the Ctrl key.
For example, if you wish to find International jobs as well as those based in London, choose the ‘International’ option and once highlighted, hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click the ‘London’ option. You should now see both options highlighted. You can highlight as many options as you wish. Choosing the ‘All’ option or leaving sectors, locations or job types blank will return all jobs regardless of sector, location or job type.
If you are searching for contract jobs, you can opt to see only those contracts which meet your minimum rate requirement using the ‘Minimum Daily Contract Rate’ field.
Similarly, if you are searching for a permanent job, you can choose to see only roles which have greater than your minimum salary expectation. You can even set a maximum salary expectation to ensure you see only the most suitable jobs.
