Payment
Employers only pay a low cost for each CV received where the candidate has met the required pass score. Unlike other job sites where employers pay regardless of suitable candidates, you only pay for qualified CVs.

When do I pay?
Unlike other recruitment sites where you pay even if you do not find any suitable candidates, with recruiTT, you will only pay for the CVs you are sent.
recruiTT is a pay-per-CV service and you only receive CVs which have passed your interview. You only pay based on results. You can choose to receive a limited or unlimited number of CVs.
When you post the role, you will be asked to enter your credit card details. At this time, only a 1 pence charge is taken in order that your card details can be verified. Then, on the Posting End Date, you will be charged against that credit card according to the number of CVs you have been sent.

Why are my credit card details held?
Firstly, because we do not charge you until the Posting End date, we must keep your details but these are naturally kept securely.
Secondly, to make it easier to post jobs in the future, all you have to do is re-enter your security number rather than all the credit card details. However, for security, your credit card details will not be displayed and it will show as XXXX XXXX XXXX nnn.
How do I post a new job?
Enter your login details and you will be taken to your My recruiTT page.
Select ‘Post New Job’ and enter the job details such as job title, job description and salary, as well as job advert start and end date. Then the clever bit…
In order to ensure that you only receive the CVs of the most appropriate candidates you can ask all applicants a number of questions.
You set the question and also the desired answer. You can also give each question a score out of ten allowing you to weight questions according to their importance.
Finally you set the Candidate Filter to decide the ‘pass score’, when you wish to receive CVs and the maximum number of CVs you want to receive.
For a more detailed explanation on setting up a job, see FAQs relating to entering Job Details, creating questions for the interview and setting up a filter.

How do I enter Job Details?
There are 3 parts to the Job Details page.
1) Details about the role
You must enter a Job Title, Job Description and Location for the advertisement. For Location, you can enter either the city of region that the job will be based.
Showing a salary for the role and your company name in the advertisement are both optional. That way you can post a job without revealing your company name to applicants.
2) Job search criteria
To enable the candidate to search for your role, you can set minimum and maximum salary, geographical location, etc. This is used when a candidate searches for your role, so please be specific so that you only get the appropriate candidates applying.
3) Posting start and end date
Posting Start Date is the date the job will first appear on the site. This can be today and the job will appear immediately. The Posting End Date is the final day the role will be advertised. You can set any date you wish but it must be within 2 months of the Posting Start Date

How can I maintain my company’s confidentiality using recruiTT?
If you do not want to reveal your company name in the job advertisement, do not enter it in the Job Details sector when posting a new role and it will not be displayed.
We offer candidates a service to ensure that their CV is not forwarded to a company that they would not wish to apply to, for example, their current employer. We ask the candidate to identify which companies they do not wish to apply to from a list of companies registered on the recruit site. Therefore, we reserve the right to include your name in the list although no actual roles will be associated alongside it, it will simply be a list of all companies registered with recruiTT.

However, if you increase the Minimum % Score, all previous candidates that passed but remain as successful even if they do not meet the new Minimum % Score.
You can also change the Maximum Number of CVs you wish to be sent. If you have chosen to be sent CVs as the candidates apply and you decrease thenumber to less than the number of already successful candidates, the role will assume the quote is filled and the advertisement will be removed from the site to prevent further applications. However, you will be charged based on the actual number of successful candidates.
You can not change whether to be sent CVs as the candidates apply or on the Job Posting End Date.
Yes. Go to My Jobs and select the role. This will take you to the Job Review page. Select edit/View Job details and you can change the job description search criteria, etc.

What types of questions can I ask?
There are 5 types of questions you can set:
1) Must Have Questions
These are for essentials such as ‘Do you have a visa to work in the UK?’ These questions can have either a Yes or No answer and if the candidate’s answer does not match your desired answer then the candidate will immediately fail the interview. Must Have Questions should only relate to criteria that are a must for the role. These questions are not scored as they are an absolute requirement.
To set, enter the question and whether the desired answer is Yes or No.
2) Yes or No
These questions also have a Yes or No answer but may be not as critical as Must Have Questions. For example, ‘Do you have blue-chip experience?’
To set, enter the question and whether the desired answer is Yes or No. Amend the score per question as appropriate.
3) Multiple Choice
These questions can have multiple answers from which the candidate can choose only one. For example, ‘Which option do you consider most closely matches your personality?’ – extrovert, team-player, leader, calm.
You set the question and also the possible answers the candidate can select. Four possible answers are the default but you can choose less by selecting ‘delete’ next to the answer box. Similarly, you can add more choices by selecting ‘Add an answer.’
To set, enter the question, the answers you want the candidate to select from and the desired answer. Amend the score per question as appropriate.
4) More Or Less
These are question with a numerical answer. For example, ‘How many people do you manage?’
You then select whether you want the desired answer to be ‘more than’ or ‘less than’ a particular number. For example, to the question ‘How many people do you manage?’ you may select ‘More than’ and 10. This would mean that candidates who answer 11 or more would get the points.
To set, enter the question, select ‘more than’ or ‘less than’ and the related number. Amend the points as appropriate.
5) Other questions
Any other question type is covered by this option. Points are not awarded for this part of the interview, but the answers may help an employer decide between candidates. An example question would be ‘Why do you want this job?’
These questions are for your information when reviewing candidates and do not carry any points towards the candidate’s interview score.
To set, enter the question.

Can I add or change Interview Question after posting a role?
Yes. Go to My Jobs and select the role. This will take you to the Job Review page. On this page you can edit an existing question, delete a question or add a question.
If you delete or add a question, previous applicants scores will remain unchanged and based on the questions at the time they applied.

There are three elements to filtering candidates.
1) Choose a minimum % score
This is the minimum % score that a candidate must achieve before you would consider them. For example, if your minimum % score is 70%, and a candidate’s interview score is 69% or less, they will automatically fail the interview and their CV will not be sent to you.
2) Choose when you wish to get the CVs
You can choose to be sent the CVs as successful candidates apply or to be sent all successful CVs on the Posting End Date.
You should note that if you set a Maximum Number of CVs, the successful candidates may differ based on whether you choose to be sent CVs as candidate applies or on the Posting End Date.
For example, if you set a maximum of 5 CVs, if you choose to be sent as the candidate applies you will be sent the first 5 candidates whose score if more than your Minimum % Score.
However, if you choose to be sent CVs on the Posting End Date, you will be sent the 5 candidates with the highest scores (with score more than your Minimum % Score.)
3) Choose the maximum number of CVs
You can set whether you want to be sent the CVs of all candidates who meet your Minimum % Score or whether you want to set a quota. This way you can set a limit on the number of CVs you will be sent.

How does the candidate’s score get calculated?
When a candidate’s answer matches your desired answer, they are awarded the points set for that question. After completing the interview, all the points are totalled up and calculated as a percentage of the possible maximum.
For example, If the maximum score possible is 25 and a candidate scores 15, their percentage score would be 60%

What happens if a candidate incorrectly answers a Must Have question?
If a candidate does not answer or fails any Must Have question, they will automatically fail the interview. This is regardless of the pass score they achieve for the rest of the interview.
recruiTT politely thanks the candidate for applying. The candidate will never know your name if you have chosen to keep it confidential.
When their CV is sent to you, the candidate is informed that an employer has been sent their CV. Still your name will not be disclosed unless you chose to enter it in the job advertisement. If you wish to invite them for a further interview, you can either contact them directly or through the site.

What happens if a Candidate meets the score but I do not wish to progress further?
When their CV is sent to you, the candidate is informed that an employer has been sent their CV. Still your name will not be disclosed unless you chose to enter it in the job advertisement. You then have a choice of contacting them directly for an interview or if you wish to reject them and still maintain your confidentiality, you can reply to them through our site and they will never know who you are.

You can choose whether you want to your company name to be shown in the message or tick the ‘Hide Company Name box if you do not.

What happens if I have been set my Maximum Number of CVs?
Firstly, you will be emailed to notify you that you quota has been met. When your quota is met, your job will no longer be advertised on the site, as candidates would automatically fail.
If you wish, you can then choose to increase the Maximum Number of CVs by selecting the job in My Jobs which will take you to the Job review page and then select View/Edit Candidate Filter.

What happens if I believe a Candidate has not answered the questions honestly?
Firstly, recruiTT.co.uk will of course refund any payment back to you. More importantly though, we will review the Candidate and remove them from our site if they are found to be acting dishonestly. Given that you also have written proof of their answers, it will not be in their interest to be dishonest as they can easily be found out and reprimanded accordingly.

Where are successful candidate CVs sent?
They are sent to the email address as specified when posting a role. This can differ by role and does not need to be the same as the details in your Employer Registration. This way, they can be sent to the relevant person recruiting. You can also review them through the site.
recruiTT does encourage you to ‘housekeep’ and even if you do not wish to take a candidate’s application further, all you have to do is go to the My Jobs page and select Candidates for the role and then Contact and choose to reject their application or Delete which will automatically reject the candidate. However, if you do not reply within one month of the candidate applying, we will automatically notify the candidate that you do not wish to take it further although you can of course contact them after that date.
Yes. In the Candidate Review page, select Review Unsuccessful Candidates to see al those candidates who applied and were filtered out. You can then download any of these CVs until your job is closed. Candidates who have their CVs downloaded in this way will be classed as successful and you will be charged accordingly.
Finding Candidates
How do I review the details of candidates on the site?
Go to My Jobs and then Candidates and you will be taken to a page where you can see all the successful candidates i.e. those that meet your criteria set in Candidate Filter. You can also see them by selecting ‘Review Candidates’ on your Job Review page which you can get to by selecting the role on My Jobs. You download their CV from the site, review the scores and answers to their Interview or send them a message through the site.
You can also select ‘Review Unsuccessful Candidates’ to see the names and scores of those candidates that did not meet your criteria set in Candidate Filter. You can choose to download a CV of an unsuccessful candidate but if you do, they will then be classed as ‘successful’ and you will be charged accordingly. If you set a Maximum Number of CVs, they will also be included in this if your quote has not been met yet.

Can I do a search for a suitable candidate?
There are two ways to find a candidate.
Select Candidate Search and enter the criteria of the candidate you want to find. You can enter candidate’s salary requirements, geographical requirements, job sector experience, etc.
You can also choose to set a minimum number of years experience in that sector.
You can then search based on the candidates’ skills and jobs held.
Then, you can choose either Skills Search or CV Search.
Skills Search
This is a free service whereby you will be shown a list of up to 100 candidates meeting your criteria (if there are more than 100, it shows the most recent 100 registered so it is worth searching every so often.)
Based on the skills of the candidate which you will be able to see, select those candidates you are interested in. Then, select Request Apply.
On the next page, select your live jobs that you would like a candidate to apply to.
This will then send the candidate a message from recruiTT telling the candidate that an employer wants them to apply for the role. You can also choose to add a message if you want. Please note that the candidate can not reply. The candidate can then choose to apply as normal but you have made your job stand out from all the other posted.
CV Search
This search will provide the same candidate list as the Skills Search and the same ‘Request Apply’ service but you can also choose to download a candidate’s CV and send a message.
This is a paid service. You can choose whether you want to run unlimited searches for 1 month, 6 months or 1 year for one low cost.

What is the Do Not Apply list?
Because recruitt puts candidates and employers directly in touch, and the employer can choose to post a role without revealing their company name, candidates have a natural concern about applying to certain employers in particular their current employer.
This can often stop excellent candidates using online recruitment sites.
However recruiTT offers a unique service to candidates where they can add employers to a Do Not Apply list. Any role from a company on that list will not appear in the job searches and the candidate’s details can also not be seen by any employer on the list when the employer performs a candidate search. Therefore, we do reserve the right to include your name in the list although no actual roles will be associated alongside it, it will simply be a list of all companies registered with recruitt.
